Nazroo, a mahout (elephant driver), poses for a portrait while taking his elephant, Rajan, out for a swim in front of Radha Nagar Beach in Havelock, Andaman Islands. Rajan is one of the few elephants in Havelock that can swim, so when he is not dragging timber in the forest he is used as a tourist attraction. The relationship between the mahout and his elephant usually lasts for their entire lives, creating an extremely strong tie between the animal and the human being.

In letzter Zeit beschäftige ich mich ein wenig mit Apple`s iPhoto und bin jetzt über eine echt gelungene Diashow gestolpert wie ich finde. Nicht die übliche Abfolge von Bildern mit den gängigen Wisch-, Würfel, Überblend-Übergängen (an denen wir uns doch so langsam sattgesehen haben), sondern eine Abfolge, die mich persönlich an das Intro einer Serie oder eines Filmes erinnert.
Ging ja vor kurzem schon durchs Netz. Ist aber so genial, dass ichs auch nochmal posten wollte …
Sehr oft fällt mir auf, dass in vielen Schüssen mehr steckt als man auf den ersten Blick sieht.
Das bringt natürlich das Problem mit sich, dass man jeden Schuss viel genauer betrachten muss, sich mit ihm beschäftigen und Zeit investieren muss um dann final entscheiden zu können ob man das Bild löscht ignoriert oder doch noch etwas rauskitzelt. Aber oftmals lohnt es sich.
